| Designed by everyones' favorite, Hideo Kojima, this is a very unique |
| title with its own genre - "Solar Action RPG." The game's cartridge |
| has a detector which will only detect sunlight. Since you're a |
| vampire hunter, the sunlight plays a very important role in your |
| quest to hunt vampires. |

| So at this point, you may think this is one of those rare titles |
| that you never get to enjoy unless you find the cartridge somewhere. |
| Lucky for you, this isn't the case! We've managed to make the title |
| fully working for your enjoyment. |

| Boktai, though looking like a classic RPG, is actually an original |
| action-based adventure game for the Game Boy Advance. Players |
| assume the role of a vampire hunter, and through the use of the |
| character's "Gun del Sol" (oh, come on, basic Espanol, people) and |
| the actual, physical sun that exists in real life, players will |
| have to work their way through castles, caverns, and dungeons |
| exterminating evil beings and the area's undead master. |
| |
| See, the cartridge itself has a sensor built onto it. This sensor |
| detects sunlight being cast directly down onto it, so the |
| brighter the sun, the more powerful the energy is in the game. |
| The character user interface has a "sun indicator" bar running |
| at the bottom right of the GBA screen, so players will be able to |
| see just how much sun the sensor is detecting. The version we have |
| is actually a prototype ROM cartridge with the sensor built onto a |
| circuit board that extrudes about a centimeter from the cartridge |
| shell. I'll take a wild guess and say that the final cartridge |
| will be a slightly longer version of the standard Game Boy Advance |
| carts, so that the sensor is exposed on the edge of the system. |
| This sensor can only detect sunlight...it won't recognize any |
| artificial light, regardless if it's florescent, halogen, or the |
| standard 60 watt bulbs in your desk lamp. |
