release notes
---------------- -- --- -- - - ------------------------------------------->
Today we give you id Software's first attempt at a handheld game.
Overview -
To the kids at school, you're eight-year-old Billy Blaze. To alien
enemies in the galaxy, you're super hero Commander Keen! Smart,
funny and super-human, it's up to you to save the Earth from
destruction. As you don your brother's football helmet and become
your super hero alter ego, you're magically transported to space
worlds far away from home. Your mission - wage an all-out attack
against heavily armored mechs, oozing organic blobs and maniacal
bosses, as you try to find the lost Plasma Crystals and save
humanity from destruction. Gulp! Time to be all the super hero you
can be!
Journey through amazing worlds -
As Commander Keen, you'll journey through three outlandish worlds,
each with multiple sub-levels to explore. Run, jump, climb and
fire your Neural Ray Blaster as you take on over 38 awesome-
looking aliens and mega-bosses who are on your tail! You're going
to have to use creativity, intellect and a quick trigger-finger to
beat 'em all!
Your mission: To save the world -
Explore multi-level maps, each containing a huge variety of
puzzles and challenges, on your quest to find the scared Plasma
Crystals and repair the Omegamatic Warp Drive - thus saving the
world from imminent destruction. As you progress through the game,
solving puzzles and completing each level, you'll uncover hidden
clues, special keys, magical platforms, teleporters and much more!
Try different skill levels -
Choose from three skill levels to find one that fits your ability.
As the skill level increases, enemies become tougher, jumps become
higher and puzzles become trickier. Expect a completely different
game as you play from skill level to skill level.
