Your future as a football manager is in the palm of your hands with ▄
▄ Player Manager 2001 from THQ.
Join a club as it tries to reach the top of the pile or try to maintain
the league position of an already successful club. Manage the fixtures,
transfers, finances and injuries as well as setting up the training
program for the players and thinking about the tactics to use in the
next game. Player Manager 2001 features optional automated functions for
those of you who like to delegate managerial, financial, coaching or
scouting responsibilities. Simply switch it on and let the game take over
the tasks for you.
When match day arrives you can see the entire match in a top down arcade
view or you can choose to see the matches in one of three condensed forms
that are available.
There is a mind-blowing array of stats featured too. This tiny cartridge
accommodates over 2000 players from 5 different European leagues: the UK,
Germany, France, Spain and Italy. The game engine is also a complex
little beast. While you're fretting about the next fixture and how to
approach it, the engine is working away, tampering with the physical
condition of your players, their morale and even inventing its own
weather, just to make life a bit more difficult for you.
So, with the arrival of Player Manager 2001, there's no need to stay home
and tear your hair out over the stupid decisions you make - now you can ▄
░ do it on the move! ▄
